Jhipster Generator is an open-source Java-based yeoman generator having almost every possible, modern solution for any software project. To get Current user details in jhipster

Hey there if you want to know how to get user details in Jhipster . Check this 1. First import UserService in your class 2. Then declare variable Private UserService userService 3. Initialize in constructor class_constructor( UserService userService){ this.userService = userService; } 4. Then You can access details like this using getter values userService.getUserWithAuthorities().get().fieldName() For Id : userService.getUserWithAuthorities().get().getId() For Name : userService.getUserWithAuthorities().get().getFirstName() userService.getUserWithAuthorities().get().getLastName() For Email : userService.getUserWithAuthorities().get().getEmail() For Username(login) : userService.getUserWithAuthorities().get().getlogin() This way you can access current logged in user Details. You can use these values by setting directly or creating variables: String userEmail = userService.getUserWithAuthorities().get().getEmail() For any queries comment below....

Integrating MD Bootstrap in Jhipster

JHipster is a web application generator using Spring Boot for backend and Angular for front End with multiple technologies. Before starting you must have Sass support in your project Link to Jhipster : http://jhipster.tech/ MD Bootstrap provides various design components based on material design and layouts. You can check here : Link to MD Bootstrap : "https://mdbootstrap.com/getting-started/ So let’s start steps for integrating MD Bootstrap with JHipster First create a directory in your system with name let myAPP or any you want. CD using terminal or file explorer in your system into above created myApp folder. Open terminal in myApp (If you have not JHipster setup follow link https://www.jhipster.tech/installation/). Enter Command to generate JHipster project in your folder yo jhipster 4. After JHipster is installed . 5. In same terminal give command for installing MD Bootstrap via NPM (Node Package manager) npm i angular-bootstrap-md — save 6. In same terminal give command for installing external libraries npm install -–save chart.js@2.5.0 font-awesome hammerjs 7. To app.module.ts add import { NgModule,Injector,NO_ERRORS_SCHEMA } from ‘@angular/core’; import { MDBBootstrapModule } from ‘angular-bootstrap-md’; @NgModule({ imports: , schemas: }); 8. To Vendor.scss add /* after changing this file run ‘yarn run webpack:build’ */ $fa-font-path: ‘~font-awesome/fonts’; // Images Path for angular-bootstrap-md $image-path: ‘../../../../../node_modules/angular-bootstrap-md/img’ !default; // Fonts Path for angular-bootstrap-md $roboto-font-path: “../../../../../node_modules/angular-bootstrap-md/font/roboto/” !default; /*************************** put Sass variables here: eg $input-color: red; ****************************/ // Override Boostrap variables @import “bootstrap-variables”; // Import Bootstrap source files from node_modules @import ‘node_modules/font-awesome/scss/font-awesome’; @import ‘node_modules/angular-bootstrap-md/scss/bootstrap/bootstrap’; @import ‘node_modules/angular-bootstrap-md/scss/mdb-free’; 9. In angular-cli.json add “styles”: , “scripts”: 10. Add following into tsconfig.json file located in root folder “inlcude”: 11. Run in terminal to compile styles and scripts and inject to project yarn webpack:build 12. That are all steps for integrating MD Bootstrap with Jhipster Note : If you got any warnings in terminal after running yarn “webpack:build” then you can fix using tsLint manually Note 2: If you got compile failed errors then you may have styles conflict You can fix by removing normal bootstrap styles or comment it if you do not want to remove //@import ‘node_modules/bootstrap/scss/bootstrap’;

Hi, there I will be sharing today how to install and use Jhipster :

Local installation with Yarn (recommended for normal users)

Quick setup when using Angular

Install Java 8 from the Oracle website.
Install Node.js from the Node.js website (prefer an LTS version)
Install Yarn from the Yarn website
If you want to use the JHipster Marketplace, install Yeoman: yarn global add yo
Install JHipster: yarn global add generator-jhipster

Now that JHipster is installed, your next step is to create an application

Quick setup when using AngularJS 1.x

Install Java 8 from the Oracle website.
Install Node.js from the Node.js website (prefer an LTS version)
Install Yarn from the Yarn website
Install Bower: yarn global add bower
Install Gulp: yarn global add gulp-cli
If you want to use the JHipster Marketplace, install Yeoman: yarn global add yo
Install JHipster: yarn global add generator-jhipster

Now that JHipster is installed, your next step is to create an application

Local installation with NPM (alternative to Yarn)

This is the same procedure as using Yarn, with two differences:

Instead of installing Yarn in step 3, update NPM: npm install -g npm
Use npm install -g instead of yarn global add, for example:
- To install Yeoman, type: npm install -g yo
- To install JHipster, type: npm install -g generator-jhipster

Installation with Homebrew on Mac OS X

JHipster provides a Homebrew package, available on http://formulae.brew.sh/formula/jhipster. To install JHipster (as well as Node and Yarn), just type:

brew install jhipster

New versions of this package are published each time a new JHipster release is created, but it might take time for the Homebrew team to validate this package - so if you have an older JHipster release, please be patient or use the Yarn installation above.

Installation with Chocolatey on Windows

JHipster provides a Chocolatey package, available on https://chocolatey.org/packages/jhipster. To install JHipster (as well as Node, Yarn, Yeoman, Java and Git), just type:

choco install jhipster
