3. NetBeans

NETBeans IDE

NetBeans is an IDE for Java.  It has cross-platform support available. In addition to Java development, it has extensions for other languages like PHP, C, C++, and HTML. Javadoc and Javascript. Applications based on NetBeans, including the NetBeans IDE, can be extended by the third-party developer plugins. Netbeans is open source and free to use.

System requirements are :

OS – windows, Linux or Mac OS with JDK

RAM – 1 GB minimum
